A recently opened city centre bar and restaurant has closed and reopened in quick succession.
Andrew Sumner said Blue Bayou, branded as a cocktail bar and jazz lounge, has been rebranded.
Mr Sumner, who is now in complete control of the venue and also runs Moka, said Bayou had built up a strong weekend following but found trading in the week difficult.
Instead, the former Korova venue, has reopened as Coffee Bar Culture.

Mr Sumner said: “We’re following the trend of venues down South where it’s open all day as a coffee bar and then a cocktail bar in the evening.
“We’ll be doing food as well in terms of nibbles and small plates to accompany your drinks if you get peckish.
“There’s a great team and we have many years experiencing in the catering field, be it coffee, food or cocktails.
“I want the venue to have a very personal feel, being on first-name terms with the customers and a place where you want to come and socialise.”
