A teacher from Penwortham has been recognised for her work at a South Ribble school.
AdvertisementMichelle Iddon, who teaches at Whitefield Primary School in Oaklands Drive, has been given a national award.
Hays recruitment has been on the hunt for outstanding contributions by supply teachers.
Mrs Iddon was given the award for her work as a ‘hugely dedicated teacher’ since March 2014.
Her work in successful SATs results and phonics tests has been highlighted by the award.

Deputy headteacher at Whitfield Mrs Janice Adams said: “Her hard work and positivity around school and in the classroom is the reason why her pupils are developing so well. She is invaluable to the school.”
On receiving the Outstanding Teacher of the Term award Michelle said: “It was a bit of a shock I never expected to win this.”
