A new dessert restaurant is opening in Preston city centre.

Empty retail units have been below the Premier Inn facing onto Ringway since it opened in late 2013.

Now a national dessert chain has taken one of the units to keep Prestonian’s with a sweet tooth happy,

Kaspa’s does ice cream, crepes, waffles, coffee and milkshakes.

The franchise is rapidly expanding across the UK.

The opening, in a couple of weeks time, is due to create a number of full-time and part-time jobs.

Kaspa’s opening follows the arrival of Heavenly Desserts, another dessert-only restaurant, in the city centre in summer last year and Off the Waffle in Friargate.
