Slippery conditions seem to have caused a camper-van to mount a slope in Fulwood.

Motorists on Wednesday (2 August) evening saw the two stranded motorists awaiting rescue.

Around 8.30pm the vehicle was seen resting next to a sign on the roadside near the roundabout at Oliver’s Place in Eastway – near the former Broughton Printers site.

Sudden downpours on Wednesday night saw roads become slippy during evening driving.

No other vehicles are thought to have been involved in the incident.
