Police are searching for a missing teenager thought to be in Preston.

14-year-old Preston Forbes has gone missing from a care home in Brighouse, Yorkshire.

He was last seen at the home at 12.25pm on Monday (14 August).

Until recently he had lived in Preston and police say he has strong links to the Preston area with family and friends living here.

A Preston Police spokesman said: “It is a strong possibility that he will be in the Preston area.

“We would like to locate him as soon as possible. Anybody who has seen him, or knows where he may be, is asked to contact us as soon as possible.”
