A run down former shop is to be transformed into a small cafe in Ashton-on-Ribble.
What was Feast in Water Lane has become dilapidated facing into a busy Preston road.
Now plans have been lodged to run a cafe in the premises.
Operating from 12noon to 11pm Monday to Sunday the cafe’s cuisine has not yet been decided.
Plans from Mrs Po Man Wong outline how they want to bring the building back into use.
Four jobs would be created by the new cafe.

A new extractor fan system is due to be fitted to the building as part of the redevelopment.
Documents from MM Architectural Design state: “There is a substantial residential catchment area around the site and it is anticipated that the majority of customers live and work locally and within walking distances of the site. As such, it is considered that the location is acceptable for the proposed use and highly desirable to the local residents.
“It is considered that the investment in the premises and the resulting aesthetic gains together contribute an important service to the local residents in that area.”
