A village on the outskirts of Preston is to get a micropub.
Tap and Vent, already operating in Longridge, has applied to open in Goosnargh.
A former antiques shop in Whittingham Lane would be converted into the small bar.
Serving around four to five ales the Longridge bar has proved popular.
Now its owner Nicola Crosbie is branching out.
Plans for the bar include making minor amendments to the window openings and opening up the inside to ‘provide a fully accessible and sustainable microbar’.
It would be open from 12noon to 11pm each day of the week.

Opening the bar would create two jobs.
Lancashire Police have recommended CCTV is installed to deter any alcohol related violence or disorder – but have not tabled any objections to the bar opening.
