Police have launched an appeal after a second stabbing in Ribbleton.
A 27-year-old man was found with a stab wound to his abdomen by passers-by.
The incident took place around 2.30am on Sunday (13 August) in Garsdale Road, Brookfield.
Preston Police say they believe the stabbing may be linked to a party at a nearby address in the housing estate where the man was found.
The man was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital where he is recovering.
DS Jerry Sturgess of Preston CID said: “We believe that there may have been an altercation between males in the Garsdale Road area. We would urge anyone who saw any of the incident or has any information that could assist with our enquiries to come forward.
“Luckily the victim has not suffered more serious injuries as the consequences could easily have been significantly worse.”
Anyone with information can contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting log 0204 of August 13th.
