A Preston hairdressers has expanded to include a tanning salon.

Jo and Cass hair and beauty in Fishergate, opposite the railway station, is now home to Sun Daisies.

More than £20,000 has been spent kitting out the salon, installing the new tanning stations.

Owner of Sun Daisies Chrissy Watkins said: “I have been with Jo and Cass for over five years and when the opportunity came I jumped at the chance.

“We have had a soft launch to get feedback from regular clients and to keep improving, we have listened to the feedback and made the changes so everyone who comes feels welcome and safely tanned.

“We have had visits from the local council to ensure our sunning stations are safe and we will continuously keep ahead of all regulations.”

Graham and Jo, owners of Jo & Cass said: “Having Sun Daisies based at our site in Preston adds more services to our clients making us one of the first choice’s for hair and beauty in Preston, possibly Lancashire. What you are getting is not just your usual, you’re getting treated like a king or queen from the welcoming to the goodbye.”

A number of new jobs have been created by the opening of the tanning salon.
