A Preston shop is moving from one shopping centre to another.
Hawkin’s Bazaar is moving into the St George’s Shopping Centre – leaving behind the Fishergate Shopping Centre after three years.
The gift store is moving into a new shop on the first floor of St George’s opposite H&M.
A major refit is being done to the space.
Store manager Sophie Royles said: “The unit in St George’s has a much larger footprint than our former Preston home, so as our customer base and product range grows, it makes commercial sense to bring the Hawkin’s Bazaar brand to the centre. We’re thrilled to have secured this prime retail space.”

All staff are transferring to the new shop.
General manager of the St George’s centre Andrew Stringer said: “The move is fantastic news for Preston shoppers as well as St George’s, as we attract another quality national retailer to our tenant line-up.”
The new Hawkin’s store opens on Sunday (13 August).
