Four car crash in Bamber Bridge puts two people in hospital

Four vehicles were involved in a crash in Bamber Bridge which shut a major route for more than an hour on Thursday (24 August) morning.

Preston Police were called to Station Road near Brownedge High School around 9.15am.

A silver Ford, white Ford, red Vauxhall and silver Vauxhall were damaged in the crash.

Two people have been taken to Royal Preston Hospital, a man with chest pains and another person with a back injury.

Police kept the road between the Walton Arms pub and the Withy Arms pub closed until shortly before 11am while the vehicles were cleared from the road.
