Hundreds of runners are expected to lace up for a 10-mile race in the city’s running calendar.
A flat and fast course in Hutton is expected to see a quick field on the start line.
The road race is put on by Preston Harriers running club and has been running for more than 35 years.
More than 400 runners are expected for the event.

Myprotein is the main sponsor for the event and there’s a £250 cash prize on offer for the men and women’s course record.
Chip timing is put on for the race and all those finishing receive a medal and a race t-shirt.

The race is on Sunday 19 November and also incorporates the Lancashire AA 10-mile road championship.
It’s a 10am start time and it starts and ends at Hutton Grammar School.
Entry is £17.60 for club runner and £19.60 for the unattached. You must be 17 or over to run. Race places are available online.
