A family fun day is being held in a Fulwood park this Bank Holiday weekend.

Conway Park, off Conway Drive, is the venue for the Friends of the park’s annual event.

Starting at 11am on Sunday (27 August) it includes a dog show, family picnic and a range of kids activities and games.

All money raised during the event, which is free to attend, goes towards improving the facilities within the park.

The Just for Fun dog show, which starts at 11am, has a number of ‘fun categories’ for judging.

Families are encouraged to bring their own picnic, and rug, and folding chairs and tables can be brought.

There will be refreshments available to buy as well as homemade cakes.
