A major shopping event is returning to the city during the Autumn.
St George’s student lock-in sees thousands of students trying to bag a bargain during the special evening opening.
Branded as St George’s Student ShopFest the centre is closed off just for students for three hours.
Retailers in the centre offer massive discounts on products, free merchandise and there’s usually celeb appearances with live music.
Last year’s event saw an appearance by Love Island’s Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde.
This year’s event takes place on Tuesday 3 October from 6pm to 9pm.
St George’s centre manager Andrew Stringer said: “There will be some great bargains up for grabs and with St George’s Shopping Centre staying open until 9pm, there will be
ample time for students to shop.
“There is a fantastic line up of top entertainment programmed for the event and with the many fun activities on offer, we’re sure it will be a huge hit with local students.”

Manager for New Look Sue Clark said: “There’s a huge anticipation about ShopFest within the centre – the St George’s annual student event is always a highlight within our trading calendar.
“We are thrilled that the event will be back for 2017, with some twists, and look forward to a hugely enjoyable night for our student visitors and the centre’s retailers.”
