Crash shuts rural road near Preston

Emergency services in Rosemary Lane, Bartle

Police have closed a rural road on the outskirts of Preston.

Rosemary Lane in Bartle is shut due to a crash.

Preston Police have North West Air Ambulance in attendance as well as ground crews.

Traffic is being diverted via Blackleach Lane.

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The crash took place shortly after 1pm on Saturday (19 August) and the road reopened around 2.30pm.
