Crash on city centre road causes rush hour problems

A collision between two vehicles on a busy city centre road caused problems for commuters ahead of rush hour.

Tailbacks were reported in North Road in Preston following a collision at around 3.10pm.

The collision was between a grey Picasso and a blue Picasso.

Emergency services were called to the scene and a man was treated for neck pain.

Traffic on North Road appears to have cleared however there are still significant delays on Ring Way towards London Road.
