A picture of two men has been released in connection with an attack on a taxi driver in Preston.
The incident at 3.40am on Saturday 5 August left the driver with a fractured cheekbone, bruising to his face and pain in his eyes and head.
He had picked up two male passengers on the dual carriageway close to Riversway.
The 47-year-old took the fare and was set upon by one of the two men.
His attacker reached through the partition and hit him in the face, before leaving the vehicle and hitting the driver again. The two men then made off.

PC Katie Abbott, of Preston Police, said: “This incident left a taxi driver, simply going about his work, with some nasty injuries. We would now like to speak to the two men in the attached CCTV image as we believe they may be able to help with our enquiries.”
