A number of fares on Preston Bus services have gone up.
Price rises on bus routes operated by the firm on behalf of Lancashire County Council kicked in on Tuesday (29 August).
Preston Bus said the decision to hike fares was taken by the county council – and it has no control on the prices of subsidised services.
The following services see their single fares increase by 20p: 5/6 (Ormskirk Town Service), 74, 75, 75A, 80, 114, 312, 313. Child and return fares also see a ‘proportional increase’.
The Fylde Villager tickets (valid on services 74, 75, 75A and 80 only) will increase to £7.80 (adult day), £3.90 (child day), £17.00 (adult/child week).
