Police sealed off a road in Cottam following a crash involving a bus.

The Preston Bus service sustained damage after a collision with a mail van.

Preston Police say it is being treated as a ‘damage-only collision’.

Officers were called to Cottam Way around 6.45am on Wednesday (16 August).

There were no passengers on-board at the time of the crash and the driver is not understood to be hurt.

A spokesman for Preston Bus said: “The incident involved a Preston Bus vehicle in Cottam this morning. The bus was stationary at the time of the collision.

“As with all incidents, the matter will be thoroughly investigated and appropriate action taken if required.”
