Arrests made after stolen car crashes in Plungington

Police have made arrests after a stolen car crashed into a number of vehicles in a Preston side road.

The black Hyundai Tuscon was found in Eldon Street, Plungington, around 9.50pm on Wednesday (9 August).

Major damage had been caused to the passenger side of the car which was left in the middle of the road.

Three men were later arrested in connection with the crash.

An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted theft of a motor vehicle.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking.

All three are from Preston and remain in custody.
