Woodplumpton Road resurfacing finished – buses were diverted

A busy route in Preston had been closed while resurfacing works takes place.

Preston Bus says it diverted two of its city services during the work.

Woodplumpton Road in Fulwood was shut affecting the number 44 and 35 services.

The road reopened around 4pm on Wednesday (12 July).

Lancashire County Council confirmed the road was back open and the work complete. No further closures are planned.
