Winckley Square gardens is to be closed off for the weekend and transformed into a Wizard of Oz themed spectacular.
The live theatre show is dubbed as a ‘magical interactive children’s outdoor theatre experience’.
Events Live are taking over the newly renovated Gardens for the first of its kind performance.
Children and parents are taken along the yellow brick road during the journey around the gardens.
Kids become part of the show and lead with the characters to each scene – and get involved every step of the way.

The Wizard of Oz is running on Saturday 8 July and Sunday 9 July.
Tickets for children are £12 each with £3 for each accompanying adult. Prices on the day are £18 with each adult £5. Tickets available via Skiddle.
Both days sees entertainment start at 10am, with a second performance at 1pm.

– Suitable for children of all ages
– Performance moves around the gardens, so bring your own rugs and low back seating
– The park is closed off for the event and gates/exits will be manned
– Food and refreshments available but you can bring a picnic
