Classic cars will line the car park of a Preston hospice during August.
Nearly 50 vintage cars are being parked up at The Mill at St Catherine’s Hospice.
Wolseley Owners Club have launched ‘Classics at The Mill’ to showcase their mix of young and old cars.
The first event was held during July and it’s now becoming a regular fixture in the social calendar of the club and the hospice.
Chairman Nick Freeman said: “Wolseley Owners Club was pleased to initiate the first ‘Classics at The Mill’ for St Catherine’s Hospice in Lostock Hall. This classic car meet was enjoyed by all, with 47 classic cars attending on this occasion.
“It was great to see a good mix of classics, young and old, from a variety of classic car clubs and individual owners. The Mill proved to be a great meeting place for classic car owners and enthusiasts to get together and have breakfast and lunch.”
Petrol-heads can head down on Sunday 13 August from 10am to 2pm to see the cars.

Commercial caterine manager for the hospice Nicola Hanmer said: “We were really keen to get involved in this venture and were pleased with such a fantastic turnout. It’s great to be able to host such a variety of events in St Catherine’s Park.
“We served up hot breakfast rolls and drinks from a gazebo in the car park, so that visitors could continue to admire the cars on show and socialise with fellow owners and enthusiasts, whilst enjoying a bite to eat. Many of the members also came into the café for lunch; it’s always a pleasure to welcome new customers, and we’re thrilled that they enjoyed the occasion so much.”
