A Preston city centre restaurant has closed its doors until further notice.

Tiggis in Guildhall Street has been serving Italian food to the city since 1978.

Update: Tiggis is closed temporarily for toilet repairs

A sign in the door said the restaurant was ‘now closed’.

Blog Preston phoned the restaurant to ask about its future but the staff member declined to comment.

The restaurant was expected to be busy during graduation week at the University of Central Lancashire.
