Blog Preston readers have reacted with sadness to the news that the King Karai is to close.
The Indian restaurant, in Watery Lane, aims to close at the beginning of August so the owner can focus on retirement.
Deven Chauhan, son of the owner, said: “My father Babu Chauhan has decided to close the doors for good as he is now embarking on a new chapter of his life, retirement.
“He wanted to end the restaurant on his own terms instead of the other way round.”
