An arts festival is back in Preston city centre after taking a breather for a year.
Preston Tringe Festival – started in 2009 – brings Edinburgh Festival preview shows to the city.
The brainchild of Sam Buist the festival runs during the last week or July with shows at the Guild Ale House and The Adelphi.
This year’s Tringe also goes out onto the streets – with a public show on the Flag Market.
Here’s who is playing and when:
Milennial Falcons perform on Friday 21 July at the Guild Ale House from 8pm. It’s £4.
Edd Hedges performs Wonderland. He’s one of the stars of BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Comedy Club. He’s on Friday 21 July and Saturday 22 July at the Guild Ale House. It’s a fiver.
On Saturday 22 July the Tringe Street Experience takes over the Flag Market. It’s free and on from 12noon to 5pm.
Performing will be live music from Neon Cactus, Ribble City V and Olly Taylor. Live and participatory art from Preston artist Claire Doyle is also part of the show.
