One of the ramps into Preston Bus Station’s car park is being closed for two months.
As the south ramp, at the Guild Hall end of the grade-II listed building, re-opens – another one shuts.
Lancashire County Council says work has been completed on renovating the south ramp and it will be back open to vehicles on Monday (24 July) from 6am.
However, work now starts on revamping the northern ramp – accessed via North Road.
Work to repair and re-tile the northern end of the Bus Station is also taking place at the same time.

The northern ramp is closing at 10am on Monday (24 July) and work is expected to be complete by late September.
Those trying to access it will be directed via Carlisle Street, Pole Street and Lord’s Walk to access the southern ramp.
It’s part of the ongoing multi-million pound restoration of the Bus Station.
