A marathon football match is being organised in memory of Kieran Miller.
AdvertisementKieran, 29, passed away in April and his family want to celebrate his life.
He lived with cystic fibrosis and coached the under-9s team at Ribbleton FC.
Kieran was also a long-standing supporter of Preston North End.
The 24-hours of football takes place at Preston Grasshoppers in Lightfoot Lane, Fulwood on Saturday 5 August.
Matches begin at 10am and there’s also a family fun day taking place.

Preston North End centre back Paul Huntington is supporting the event.
He said: “Kieran was a great guy who I had the pleasure of meeting. I wish everyone the very best for the day.”
All proceeds from the day are being donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
