Macs bar in Friargate is soon to re-open under new management.
The bar will open its doors again on Saturday 29 July.
The bar had its closing party on 28 May 2017.
In the past, Macs has come under pressure on a series of licensing issues when Lancashire Police appealed to Preston City Council to shut down the bar on the basis of underage drinking and disorderly behaviour in the area.

The establishment is hoping to move away from its past reputation issues and relaunch itself as a sophisticated and grown up bar aimed at mid-twenties.
Manager, Asim Gulzar, plans to bring a new take on the bar, with three new rooms opening including a Sentos, Miami and Red Room.
Macs will be open on Thursday – Saturday from 9pm – 3.30am.
A spokesperson for the ‘New Macs’ said: “Our team has tirelessly spent the last year coming up with a brand new clubbing concept, and we are ready to unveil it to you all on Saturday 29th of July.
“We aren’t giving away too much just yet, but for now, you can all know that we now have three unique rooms for you all to enjoy.”
The opening party will start from 9pm and a strict dress code applies.
You can get free entry guestlist before 10.30, and there is a ‘No ID no entry’ policy.
