A new bar and lounge has opened in Penwortham – on what used to be a bungalow.

Lime Bar Lounge is nearly two years in the making but is now open to the public.

Open from 9.30am to 11pm each day the bar does coffee, lunch and bar snacks.

On Thursday (13 July) the bar ‘soft launched’ to local businesses and selected guests. It opened on Friday (14 July) to the public during the evening.

It’s now opened creating more than 15 jobs at the Liverpool Road venue.

The owners posted on Facebook: “A massive well done to the team last night on our soft opening. You did an amazing job.”

Lime also has an extensive cocktail bar and menu.
