Kendal Calling has made a last minute addition to its 2017 line-up.

Happy Mondays will return to the festival once again to play a set on the Thursday (July 27) night.

Tickets to see Franz Ferdinand and Happy Mondays on the Thursday night must be bought separately.

They join a line-up that already includes performances from Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls (who they played with at Kendal Calling 2014), Tinie Tempah and Brian Wilson.

The festival will be held from July 27-30 in Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District.
