A Preston city centre bar reopens on Saturday (29 July) evening.

Macs bar, located at 158-159 Friargate, has seen major work to relaunch it as a ‘sophisticated, smart and contemporary venue.’

The dress code is ‘smart’ which will help set the tone for the rest of the venue.

Three new rooms, including Sentos, Miami and Red Room will certainly turn heads with modern and vibrant interiors.

There are lots of surprises in store for Macs lovers – and they are definitely unexpected.

Macs has not seen any major changes since opening more than eight years ago, and the new management team say they hope to leave the bar’s previous and well-documented issues behind them.

The Macs Team said: “We thought it was the perfect time to give the club a new look.

“We have all grown up and we wanted to bring the club with us.

“There are lots of surprises and we don’t want to give anything away too soon… but you will be wowed on the night.”

The new Sentos bar will be open during the week providing an elegant array of cocktails.

Resident DJ’s Tiny and Tiz will be providing the music and are set to get the atmosphere going.

Doors will open from 9pm on the opening night and there is a free entry guestlist before 10.30pm.
