Two treks offer Prestonians the chance to help raise money for St Catherine’s Hospice.
Walking Morecambe Bay returns on Saturday 16 September is a scenic eight-mile walk.
Families are invited to take a gentle stroll over the sands and through the shallow waters led by the Queen’s Guide to the Sands Cedric Robinson MBE.
This year the hospice is also organising a Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday 30 September.
Doing the Peaks sees 25 miles of hill-walking in the Dales taking around 12 hours to complete.

Hospice fundraiser Norman Cutler said: “We had such an incredible response to our recent Moonlight and Memories Walk this year, so we wanted to offer our supporters even more choice when it came to planning our upcoming sponsored challenges.
“The iconic Morecambe Bay Walk is a great day out for all the family, while the Yorkshire Three Peaks is another famous trek which we’re sure will get ramblers excited – they can tick off Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y- ghent all in one day!
“Both walks offer amazing panoramic views and memorable scenery.”
