House fire closed Fulwood road during Friday evening

Firefighters were called to a home in Fulwood following reports of a fire.
Two crews from Preston and one from Fulwood attended the incident in Brookside Road.
One person was taken to hospital by paramedics for precautionary checks.
The road was cordoned off while firefighters put out the blaze.
No cause has been given for the fire by Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, which started shortly after 6pm on Friday (7 July).
