The Stanley Arms Pub, located in Preston City Centre, is to reopen on Tuesday 25 July following a major revamp.
Located on Lancaster Road the grade-II listed building was closed earlier this month in order to undergo a transformation costing nearly a quarter-of-a-million pounds.
New licensee, Paul Butcher, wanted to give the pub a refurbishment whilst also maintaining a traditional country style.
The pub has been revamped from head to toe, including the cellar, bar room and function room.
The impressive new decor creates a modern feel yet provides a tradition country style pub.
Paul Butcher, who has has worked in hospitality for many years, said: “I wanted to keep the traditional features which are in-keeping with the pub’s history.
“With the new function room, we want to attract local businesses to come and have a coffee, bigger groups like graduations and family parties.
“It’s great because it’s a self contained function room as it has its own bar and toilets.”
The reopening on Tuesday 25 July will take place from 6pm until 10pm and is a ticketed event.
The pub will then be open to the public from Wednesday 26 July.
You can get tickets for the event my contacting the pub via email.
