Jeremy Strawbyn, Theresa Hay and friends are sitting in the front gardens of homes across Hoghton.
The annual scarecrow competition has begun in Gregson Green with more than 30 straw creations to view.
Launched at the Open Gardens event on Saturday (22 July) there’s some fabulous creations to see.
Trail forms can be purchased over the coming weeks, for £1, and help raise money for a new community centre in Gregson Green.
Forms can be bought from Clayfields Chemist on Alder Drive, Cafe Delphine and Old Oak Garage.

Buying a trail form also allows you to vote in the People’s Choice awards category being announced at Gala Day on Sunday 27 August.
