Preston Guild Hall have announced the cast for their 2017 Pantomime, Aladdin.
The show will be held at the Charter Theatre and will run from Thursday 7 December 2017 – Wednesday 3 January 2018.
Venue bosses have brought on board the expertise of comedian Phil Walker, who will star as Aladdin’s brother ‘Wishee Washee’.
The UK’s leading comedy magician and TV trickster Paul Zenon will be taking to the stage as the evil sorcerer ‘Abanazar’, and with over 20 years experience in performing, specialising in illusion and escape artiste, audiences will have to keep their eye on him.

Carl Tracy, most popularly known as ‘that one with the yellow hat’ as one fifth of the children’s music group Go!Go!Go!, will be taking centre stage as ‘Aladdin’.
Stacey McClean, from Blackpool, member of pop sensation group S Club Junior, will be joining him as she takes on the role as ‘Princess Jasmine’.
‘Slave of the Ring’ role will be played by Johnathon Mayor, one of the finest comedic comperes in the country – He is a resident compere at Manchester’s Frog and Bucket.
After his Charter Theatre debut as Fleshcreep in last year’s hit show, Preston-born Marvyn Dickinson is returning as ‘PC Pong’ – Marvyn is a versatile character actor and is well known for his appearances in CBBC’s Class Dismissed.
And finally, talented actor Jeffery Longmore, a panto dame with 30 years experience, will take to the stage as ‘Widow Twankey’.

The Guild Hall are pulling out all the stops, and promise spectacular special effects, illusions and pyrotechnics that will amaze even the most technological children, and adults!
They will team up with Twins FX, who helped them create amazing illusions in their previous pantomimes Jack & The Beanstalk and Sleeping Beauty.
Freedom Flying company, who have recently completed a world tour of Asia with Wicked and a UK tour of Billy Elliot, are also helping them to create flying effects to meet modern expectations and still retain the charm of live theatre.
