Delays on the M6 northbound after crash

Commuters are experiencing delays this morning (July 18) due to a crash on the M6.

The incident was between two vehicles and happened just after 7.45am.

Emergency services attended the scene of the crash between junction 30 for the M61 and 31 for Samlesbury.

It involved a blue Renault Clio and a grey BMW.

The speed limit has temporarily been capped at 40mph.

The damage to the vehicles is minor and nobody is thought to be seriously injured.
