A new care home could be built on a car park at Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Club.
The Fulwood rugby club currently lets NHS staff use the car park but plans have been tabled to build a two-storey nursing home.
North West Care Homes Limited have outlined their proposals for a care home with 74-beds.
At present, the land adjacent to the club house, is used by the NHS with space for 150 cars but alternative parking would be offered elsewhere within the Hoppers site.
The care home would include a sensory garden and space for 40 cars to park.

It would border onto Lightfoot Lane.
Full plans for the care home can be found on the Preston City Council website and comments can be left on the application there.
