It looks like strong winds have blown through one of Preston’s glorious parks.

But it is a human hand which has snapped branches down along the Miller Park walk.

Heading towards the South Meadow Lane exit the vandal has left the trees looking brow-beaten.

The Continental pub has also been targeted, with hanging baskets overturned and light bulbs scattered.

Maria, who shared the picture with Blog Preston, said it was ‘disheartening for park staff who put so much care and effort into the park’.

A spokeswoman for Preston City Council said they had staff out clearing up during Friday. They also branded the actions as ‘selfish’.
