Police searching for man in connection with Preston city centre burglaries

A string of burglaries across Preston has triggered a police appeal.

Preston Police want to speak to Damien James Bennett in connection with 14 burglaries.

The offences have taken place at businesses across the city centre between early May and Thursday (1 June).

During each incident items including tills, spirits, vending machines and takings from gambling machines have been stolen.

Bennett, who is also known as Benny, is described as white, 6′, short or shaven dark hair.

He has a sun-style tattoo on his lower left arm.

Police say he could be wearing sunglasses and a hooded top tied around his neck, and will possibly be in possession of a backpack.
