Two empty floors above a Polish shop in Preston city centre could become new flats along with a new restaurant.
Developers have tabled proposals for the Traditional Polish Food Shop in Church Street.
MM Architectural Design have tabled the plans on behalf of Mr S Bhata.
They state ‘it has clearly been demonstrated how a high-quality conversion scheme would bring about good quality living accommodation whilst making effective use of an existing building in need of refurbishment.
“The proposal represents sustainable development and will bring about no adverse impacts on surrounding occupiers or on the local highway network.”
The Polish food shop is between the Bear’s Paw pub and Ali’s Indian restaurant.
