Traffic lights on London Road have finally been fixed.

The lights – at the junction with New Hall Lane and Queen Street – have been out on and off for the last fortnight.

Lancashire County Council says the permanent traffic lights are now fixed and back on as of Monday (19 June) afternoon.

Engineers put in temporary traffic lights following an electrical fault in London Road.

It’s led to queues and delays of more than an hour on one of the city’s major routes.
