Preston goes to the polls to decide its MP in the June 2017 general election.
Theresa May and the Conservatives called the snap general election and now the voting takes place throughout Thursday 8 June with the count stretching into Friday 9 June.
Voters in Preston have their say on who they want as their MP – just over two years since they last voted – and there will also be results in Fylde, which includes part of the Lea, Wyre and Preston North, covering the Northern area of Preston such as Fulwood, and South Ribble and the Ribble Valley which border Preston.
Voting ends at 10pm on Thursday 8 June and we’ll be live from the Preston count at Preston Guild Hall with updates and the results as soon as they land.
