Candidates standing in the June general election for Wyre and Preston North have been confirmed.
Preston sees a third of the city elect an MP for the Preston North area – for the seat which was created for the 2010 general election.
Cadley, College, Garrison, Greyfriars, Preston Rural Earth, Preston Rural North and Sharoe Green wards all elect to the Preston North seat.
The Conservatives currently hold the seat with Ben Wallace re-standing for the party.
The Tories hold a 14,151 vote majority from the 2015 election.

Michelle Heaton-Bentley – Labour
Ruth Norbury – Green Party
John James Potter – Liberal Democrats
Ben Wallace – Conservatives
