Confirmation has been given of who will be standing for South Ribble in the general election.
Thursday 8 June sees the United Kingdom go to the polls in a snap general election.
The Conservatives defend the seat with Seema Kennedy holding a majority of 5,945 votes from the 2015 election.
South Ribble is to be one of the few constituencies contested by the National Health Action Party – who claim five more years of Conservative government would see ‘the end of the NHS as we know it’.
The full list of candidates for South Ribble are:
Julie Patricia Gibson – Labour
Mark Andrew Jarnell – National Health Action Party
Seema Louise Ghiassi Kennedy – Conservatives
Mark Lawrence Smith – UKIP
Andrew Edward Wight – Green Party
John Patrick Wright – Liberal Democrats
