Police have released this picture of a man they wish to speak to

Police are appealing to trace a man in connection with a female jogger being grabbed while out running near Moor Park.

The 22-year-old victim was jogging along Blackpool Road parallel to the park on Saturday (13 May).

Around 3.25pm a man on a bicycle stopped in front of her.

She went to run around him when he grabbed at her.

The woman managed to get free and ran off away from the cyclist.

DC Caroline Turley from Preston CID said: “The victim was understandably shaken by this incident and thankfully managed to run off.

“We need to find this man and so if you think you may know who he is, please get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting incident reference 1036 of May 13th.
