Simon King OBE, a well respected wildlife cameraman, is coming to Preston to celebrate Lancashire Badger Group’s 25th Anniversary.
Lancashire Badger Group is a group that works together to help protect badgers through regular survey and monitoring volunteers, and they provide information talks to the public to help raise awareness of the creatures.
Simon, the Big Cat Watch presenter and renowned nature photographer, has been invited by Lancashire Badger Group to share his stories and photographs as part of the 25 year celebration of promoting and protecting badgers.
This will present the unique opportunity for Simon to share some of his own encounters with nature.
He has created many filming masterpieces for prestigious BBC programmes such as Blue Planet, Life in the Freezer, Planet Earth and Big Cat Diary.

The event ‘An Evening With Simon King’ will take place on Thursday 22 June at 7pm.
Everyone is welcome to come along and share an evening with the man behind the lens.
Simon will take you on a journey as he recounts his encounters with wildlife, including telling his stories of badgers.
The cost for the ticket is £20 and there will be a £1.99 booking fee.
