A Preston nightclub with decades of dance-floor memories is due to re-open under new owners.
Haydn Price and Darren Ofsarnie have signed a deal to bring the former Squires club back into use.
Renamed as Switch the pair are promising a ‘tri-scene’ with three rooms with pure, pop and bass.
Previously part of the Deltic group, who also own Evoque, the club shut down on Halloween last year and has been empty since. It was known as Cameo and Vinyl during the final years of operation.
Darren and Haydn say they are hoping to have it open by August.
Preston Markets is currently seeing a major revamp as part of the £50million Markets scheme – with a new glazed market due to open under the Covered Market by Christmas.
The pair, who operate Fun Leisure UK, have produced a preview video promoting their new night Control. They say the recent work in the city centre, such as the Markets, has convinced them to take on the club.
