St George Shopping Centre will host free children’s activities this half-term

Inside St George’s Shopping Centre

St George’s Shopping Centre, in Preston city centre, will be hosting a range of activities to help keep the children busy during this school half term.

There will be lots of fun things to get involved with including free face painting and balloon twisting.

Scruff Kidz Entertainer, Sarah Lewis, will return to the centre to amaze the children whilst twisting different sizes, colours and shapes of balloons.

She will also create sculptures such as balloon dogs, giraffes, swords and rabbits, which are all free to customers.

The Balloon twisting will be taking place from Tuesday 30 May and will be between 11am and 3pm each day.

Face painter Minnie Scott will also be joining Sarah at the shopping centre.

Minnie will be offering free, fun activities to keep the little ones entertained.

The face painting will be taking place from Monday 29 May – Saturday 3 June at 11am-3pm each day.

Andrew Stringer, general manager at St George’s Shopping Centre, said: “Keeping the children entertained during the school holidays can be expensive, so St George’s is putting on free face painting and balloon twisting to keep your little ones entertained this may half term.

“The activities are free and everyone is welcome to come and have some fun on us.”

The activities will be situated on the first floor of the shopping centre, close to the Friargate entrance.
